Participants will learn how to provide Trauma Informed Care, practice Self Care, Understand DECA results and choose strategies for their classroom for common behavioral concerns.
This training will be conducted live using the Zoom conferencing platform. Several days before the event, registrants will receive an email with a link to register on Starting Point’s Zoom website. Once you have completed the Zoom registration process, you will receive another email with the link to join the event.
In order to receive credit for live online trainings, participants must be logged on to Zoom and actively engaged throughout the entire session. By embedding activity prompts, discussion questions, and polls, instructors are able to engage learners while keeping track of attendance and engagement. Participants who fail to respond to prompts and questions are assumed inactive and may be omitted from attendance records.

Overview of Disability Awareness and Legislation Childcare Programs need to know. How to identify early warning signs of disabilities and the use of strategies and resources to adapt classrooms to include and be able to accommodate young children with a variety of disabilities.
