Do you have questions regarding social distancing in your early care and education program? Join this one-hour chat discussion with pediatrician, Danette Glassy, MD, FAAP. Dr. Glassy will review the CDC guidance for early care and education programs and provide practical strategies for implementation in a variety of early care programs.
The registration link can be used for both the live event and on-demand viewing. The recording will be available to watch on-demand starting 30 minutes after the event ends until June 15, 2020. Because access to the live event is limited and the session may be full, we recommend watching the webinar on-demand. A version with English closed captions will also be posted on the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center (ECLKC) in the coming weeks.
Participants will receive an email with a link to download the certificate of attendance, at the end of either the live event or on-demand viewing.

Join the CDC Foundation for a 90-minute online seminar that will:
- Discuss how the virus works and spreads
- Share a process that can help you analyze the risks in your unique settings
- Work through some relevant scenarios with public health experts

Join us as we begin planning our strategies that support nutrition and physical activity opportunities for young children and their families in Cuyahoga County. This virtual strategic planning meeting will challenge us to consider ways to think about our work to have the biggest impact on our community.
We are excited to begin our discussion this week on our coalition’s work focused on the nutrition and physical activity needs of young children. As a part of our discussion, we are requesting you come to the discussion considering the following:
- What is within the coalition’s control to address these needs? Please consider our pillars of work: training and technical assistance, research and evaluation, community collaborations, and advocacy and communications.
- How are we currently doing? We will:
- Identify 3 indicators that support the results statement (All children in early care and education are healthy in Cuyahoga county)
- If data is not available we can develop a data agenda
