Please join us for an update on efforts being made in early education to support children’s health and wellness, including updates from Governor DeWine’s Office of Childhood Initiatives, Ohio Department of Health, Ohio Department of Education and ongoing work by the OECHN working groups. We will be meeting in person in Columbus at OCCRRA and via this webinar link for those who are unable to travel in for the updates.
Feed Our Future: Local Foods for Growing Minds began as a local farm to school effort in Northeast Ohio to inspire local school districts and households to promote healthy, local foods. Over the past year, Feed Our Future has expanded its presence to reach both a regional and national audience, partnering with other like-minded organizations to ensure that school aged children have choice for local foods and also have opportunities to engage with the local food system within their school community.
In partnership with the Early Ages Healthy Stages coalition, Feed Our Future is currently exploring ways in which its model can be expanded to support early education.
